<p><strong>Commencing January 2025</strong></p><p><strong>Full Time</strong></p><p><strong>Position of Leadership</strong></p><p>Marist Sion College is situated in Warragul, Gippsland. Warragul is a thriving rural town set amongst rolling green hills and dairy fields, on the lands of the Gunaikurnai and Bunurong People. It is 102 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, accessible directly from the M1 freeway and lies between the Strzelecki Ranges to the south and Mount Baw Baw Plateau to the north. The town is the main population and service centre of the West Gippsland region and has a population of over 20,000.</p><p>Following extensive consultation and taking into account our new strategic plan, Marist-Sion College is excited to launch a revised Position of Leadership (POL) Model for our community, which is set to take effect in 2025.</p><p><strong>Marist-Sion College is seeking Leaders who:</strong></p><ul><li>Are visionary and inspire a learning culture of high expectations</li><li>Build a team-based culture that is self-reflective and build positive relationships with others</li><li>Adopt an evidence-based approach, supporting targeted professional</li><li>learning and monitoring progress in school improvement</li><li>Create a sustainable future by working with data to change, adapt and grow</li></ul><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>At Marist-Sion College, the Wellbeing Learning and Data Leader is responsible for the Wellbeing Program of the College. They collaborate closely with the Directors of Student Wellbeing and Heads of House to promote and implement wellbeing programs across each year level and use an evidence-based approach to understanding the wellbeing landscape of the College.</p><p>The successful applicant will be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. A full-time ongoing teacher contract is offered with this appointment.
