St Clare's Primary School is seeking a part-time teacher (FTE Flexible), who is passionate and willing to work collaboratively in an open learning environment with a team of dedicated and innovative teachers. 2025 Commencement. Experienced or graduate teachers are welcome to apply for this highly supported team teaching position. FTE can range from 0.4 (2 days a week) to 0.6 (3 days a week).

Experienced or graduate teachers are welcome to apply for this highly supported team teaching position.  FTE can range from 0.4 (2 days a week) to 0.6 (3 days a week). </p><p>Successful applicants will have the opportunity to participate in and experience:</p><ul><li>Implementation of the MACS Flourishing Learners Vision For Instruction</li><li>Weekly Professional Learning Communities (PLC) supported by curriculum leaders</li><li>Opportunities for external Professional Development such as Little Learners Love Literacy (P-2) or PhOrMeS (3-6)</li><li>Facilitated planning on a weekly basis (A full time teacher receives one full day of planning a week - Part time staff receive a sliding scale of this approach)</li><li>Participate in Instructional Coaching and be assigned a Coach to support individual professional development</li><li>Support the schools implementation of evidence based practices such as the Science of Reading and Explicit Direct Instruction</li></ul><p><u>Special Requirements</u>:</p><ul><li>A willingness to collaborate, support and contribute to the building of a professional learning culture</li><li>A commitment to working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds</li><li>An ability to plan and implement engaging learning experiences based on current learning and evidence based teaching practices</li><li>Be committed to Catholic education</li><li>A willingness to build strong partnerships and links between our families and school</li><li>An ability to adhere to St Clare&#39;s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359</li><li>A current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check</li><li>An ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues</li><li>An understanding and demonstrated use of evidence based best practice</li><li>A capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is desirable</li></ul><p>Please note that an appointment may be made before the closing date if a suitable applicant has been identified as fulfilling the school&#39;s requirements and the position</p><p> </p><p> </p>
