<p>St. Scholastica&#39;s Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking an experienced highly motivated, enthusiastic and engaging support teacher to join our school in 2025. The Support Program runs four days each week. Applicants should have the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.</p><p>The successful applicant will be required to:</p><ul><li>support the Catholic ethos of the school</li><li>have knowledge of and/or experience in an intervention program, eg. Reading Recovery, Levelled Literacy Intervention/ numeracy intervention</li><li>have expertise in contemporary learning and teaching practices, data literacy, assessment and data analysis</li><li>a willingness to work with and/or along side leaders and teachers to respond to student needs</li><li>have an ability to work independently and show initiative</li><li>build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents</li><li>have highly effective organisational and communication skills</li><li>be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement</li><li>design and implement differentiated teaching strategies in response to assessed learning strengths and needs of the child.</li></ul><p>St. Scholastica&#39;s is committed to the safety, well being and protection of all children in our care.</p><p><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p><p>VIT registration</p><p>Accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School or willingness to do so.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
